History of the building
Apartment house numbered 16 is situated is southern part of the market square, vis a vis of the city hall. History of this building goes down to the begining of XVIII century
In 2007 current owner - confectionery company „Niedźbała” - started general reconstruction of the property. During the rebuilding, reconstructed were: the hall, the cellar, old staircase and some brick walls on the first and second floor. The main plan of the floors remain unchanged. But the essential changes were made in the yard, where the cafe is situated now.
Now, the apartment house numbered 16 is a valuable historic object, elegant hotel and a modern gastronomic and cafe as well. There is a nice cafe and ice cream parlor in the place of the historic yard Dolce Vita, and the comfortable, three-star hotel Piano Nobile Pension on the first and second floor.
